out of the woodwork

Hi all!
I know that you probably completely don't trust me after that massive hiatus, but I really do miss blogging and, most of all, you! I wanted to reach out and see if I started up again (1/week to start), would you still be there, dear readers? I wouldn't blame you one bit if you'd abandoned me at this point.

 Let me know in the comments if you'd be willing to jump headfirst back into Dani's life with me, or if we should just part ways and remain cordial friends who send Christmas cards and politely nod when we're attending the same wedding.

    Yes come back we miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was one of my favorite fictional blogs.

    (I know the immediacy of my response time was probably a little creepy, but I still had this blog linked on my RSS reader so it popped up when you posted it.)

    It's really weird that you post this and have these readers begging you to come back when you haven't even apologized for your hiatus and abandoning the blog. Why not say I've had some personal issues to deal with that took precedent over the blog. Sorry for the hiatus. I'm back and I hope you'll like what I have in store? Instead it seems like you're asking readers to flatter you. Sorry if this is harsh. I like this blog and enjoyed all your posts. This one just rubbed me the wrong way.

      When did she mention a hiatus? She posted six months ago that because of her new job she'll post once a week and then disappeared. It's common courtesy to give your followers a heads up. Many readers posted comments asking for an update but got nothing. Instead of calling out readers get your facts straight.
